The wild pace of a city always gets to me, in all the wrong ways. Air too thick to breathe, tower blocks and traffic stalls clogging up space, all clamor and chaos...it gets too much to take.

I need to get away, to get out and find refuge in open, purer air. To take shelter from the high volume and high buildings. I need the time to breathe, to think, to let go of the hectic pounding that the cities always force into my veins.

There'll be time enough to go back to the madness. For a while, though, I just need time to be.
