Her jail cell didn't look like a jail cell.
There were color shutters on the windows so that the sun couldn't burn her during the day. her blood came to her warmed slightly over human body temperature in a beautiful Waterford crystal decanter. The penthouse they'd holed her in was gorgeous with lush furniture, gorgeous views of the night sky from he balcony and all the designer clothing she could want.
But she didn't want any of it. She wanted to stab Will with an ice pick. As lush and relaxing as this place was for her it wasn't home. And thanks to the shock collar and automatic staking system strapped to her chest she wasn't allowed to leave. And none of this would have happened if Will hadn't drugged her and tossed her out of that helicopter.
Now she was watching the war they started destroy Montmarte on the television. She watched for her friends vitals on her iPad. They were dying. She should've been there. She and Will always did these things together and this was their opportunity to get out together. But he had other plans.
You have shit to live for... I don't. Nighty night.
She reached for the spot where he'd plunged the syringe into her neck. She thought about his betrayal as she felt herself powerlessly falling out of the chopper they were riding in. She was unable to speak while she watched him blow her a kiss before the chopper became a speck in the distance.
Scarlett watched his vitals like a hawk.
If he made it out of this thing alive she was going to kill him herself.
