I am haunted by waters.

In the hush of a quiet evening, I can hear the lapping of waves on a far-off shore.

Water dripping from the tap sings a siren song. Calling me somewhere.

Sometimes, I feel as though I could drown in a teacup-full. In the shower, the water holds me close. Trying to tempt me to follow it wherever it will go.

The water is all around me. Even when it isn't. Even when it's only an illusion, a figment of my imagination.

I am haunted by waters. I can feel them everywhere.

They will come for me.

And I will welcome them.
