It's strange, what Time can do. What's stranger is what you're being told that Time has done in your lengthy absence.
While you were being healed, the land did what it could to heal itself. Mossy ruins dot the landscape, nature gradually reclaiming what once were structures. Generations have come and gone, the memory of the Great Calamity fading as surely as your own memories have vanished. Time has devoured so much.
But, for all of Time's voraciousness, some things seem to be the same: Locations and faces seem somehow familiar, like treasured friends whom you once knew far better.
