"Why didn't you just park the TARDIS up there," I asked between huffs and puffs. "This is such a hike!"
"Because there's not enough room for her at the top," the Doctor replied. He looked over his shoulder at me, smiling encouragingly. "Come on; it's not much further."
We'd been scrambling and clambering up a stony hill for at least ten minutes. While the Doctor seemed hardly winded, I was worn out, and somewhat frustrated. I only hoped that whatever our goal was would be worth the work.
At last, we reached the crest of the hill--and the most incredible meteor shower I'd ever seen. It looked like every star in the universe was falling.
The Doctor grinned at my awe. "You see, now? The most precious things are worth a little extra effort."
