The Doctor grinned to himself, making the last preparations for his date with River.
"Slinky dresses that she can choose between," he murmured, looking at a long rack of several gorgeous gowns that would be particularly flattering. "Check! Candles for a candle-lit dinner? Check!"
The candles in question were already gleaming in the center of a nicely-set table.
"Dinner to eat by candlelight," he added, taking in the five-star gourmet meal he'd arranged. "Check!"
That just left one last element.
"Beautiful wife to have a romantic dinner with," he beamed, setting a course for Stormcage. "Coming right up!"
