The Unicorn has her true form back, along with her immortality. There are others of her kind in the world again. Everything is as it should be. She ought to be content, satisfied. Glad that it's over.
She is not. Instead, she feels strangely guilty.
Lír came to mean so much to her when she was the Lady Amalthea. She had grown to feel something strange for him. Love is an emotion so foreign to her kind. It was peculiar in its sweetness.
Now, she aches so much that she wishes she could forget knowing how that love once felt.
