Be careful of whose attention you attract. The night life is not the safe life.
A charming smile and a pleasing, honeyed word or two might seem innocent enough. But just how innocent may they turn out to be in harsh reality? Could they be only mild flirtation...or a lure, a trick to lower your defenses?
Oh, very little flirtation qualifies as harmless, it's quite true. More often than not, it's simply a ploy, to take one from the night club or the bar, and to place them within a tangle of sheets.
But there are other lures out there. More dangerous ones.
Be careful of that good-looking stranger who locks eyes with you across a crowded room. To dance, to exchange chitchat, is one thing. But watch closely when they smile. Take a good look at their teeth.
They just might turn out to be a vampire's fangs.
